December 20, 2009

Chritmas or rather Holiday Break as they must call it now, has begun. Although I like my time at home during the week I am glad I can be home with my children while they are out of school. Plus side is that I will be able to sleep in everyday until the 3rd. Yeah. The kids are outside most of the time sledding or running around and what not and keeping busy. My boys aren't the type to just sit in the house. Nevaeh doesn't either, she is mad at me today because I am not allowing her to go outside..it is pouring rain but she likes to follow her bubba's around. On another note...I am finally finished with my Christmas cards and letter. We got the famliy pictures back on Friday. They turned out so well. I will get them out in the mail on Monay and be done with my holiday obligation I feel I have. I love sending cards and letting everyone know how our year has gone, but every year my list seems to get longer and longer. I had over 50 to send out, and when you add the pictures the cards and the stamps it isn't cheap to do by any means. Oh well. So I hope anyone who reads this has a Fantastic Chritmas, Haunaka, Kwanza or what ever else you celebrate and a Happy New Year.

Let's Get Started

Okay I am starting this blog for no particular reason and have no idea what I am going to talk about. So to get started...My name is Dawn and I am a 31 year old wife and mother of 4 that lives in a super small "town" in the NW corner of Montana. I love it here because there aren't everyday worries generated by the life of big city living. For example in the spring my boys who are 7 and 12 are able to walk the 1/4 mile to school and I have no qualms about it. I can allow my children to play in my front, back, nearly 40 acre "yard" and not have to worry they will get run over or ripped away by an intruder. My husband and I have been "together" for almost 14 years. On January 13th we will be celebrating our 9th wedding anniversay. He is the love of my life, partner, lover and best friend. Together we have two boys. He has another son, and we are also adopting my niece. She is 28 months old and has been with us since she was only a month old. We are very blessed to have our children in our lives. They make us happy and sad and sometimes maybe a little mad but they are the greatest gift GOD could have ever given us. So this is just the beginning of something new and a little adventurous as I have never written a blog. So let's just see where it will take us...
